Services for Dorothy Jane Shope Rush, 78, of Kokomo, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Murray Fueral Hoe, Galveston chapel. Mrs. Rush died at 9:53 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. Born Sept. 5, 1917, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Delbert and Alice Eckley Shope. On Jan. 15, 1936, she was married to Ralph J. Rush who died Oct. 19, 1993. A homemaker, Mrs. Rush graduated from Galveston High School. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Robert Rush, Fla. and Larry Rush, Logansport; two daughters, Connie Neal, Kokomo and Norma Dowell, Amboy; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Beulah Allen, Walton. Two sisters preceded in death. Officiating at the services will be the Rev. James Miller. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Cass County.
