OBITUARY
Ralph J. Rush, 78, of Kokomo, died at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital. Born April 4, 1915, in Cass County, he was the son of Charles L. and Ruth M. Yeakley Rush. On Jan. 15, 1936, in Logansport, he was married to Dorothy J. Shope, who survives. A petroleum driver for Farm Bureau, Mr. Rush retired in 1975 after 23 years of service with the company. He also had farmed for many years. He was a former member of Otterbein Evangelical United Brethren Church. Also surviving are two daughters Norma L. Dowell, Amboy, and Connie S. Neal, Kokomo; two sons, Robert L., Corbin Ky., and Larry Joe, Logansport; three sisters, Martha Martin, Deer Creek, Wilma Hile Fort Myers, Fla., and Shirley Moss, Logansport; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. One brother preceded in death. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Murray Funeral Home, Galveston Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
