Larry was born to Dorothy and Ernest Rumsley in 1951. Larry had 3 older brothers, Kenny, Wayne, Dale and Janet his younger sister. He grew up in Lincoln Park, MI where he finished school and went on to college.

Larry fell in love and married Brenda and together they had a beautiful daughter, Renee. The light of Larry's life.

Larry had many talents and passions. He enjoyed his job at one of the big three. He enjoyed boating and spending time with his family at their cottage on the lake and he savored a good round of golf with his buddies. Larry was a gifted musician. He played guitar and the drums with such emotion that one could listen all day. In fact, that was the case on many, many occasions.

Larry retired and spent as much time with his two grandsons as he could. You couldn't have a conversation with Larry without feeling the love and pride in his voice regarding his family and his grandchildren. (Did I mention pictures?) No one had more pride than Larry did for his family.

Larry was kind and gentle, warm and loving. He will be missed by all that knew him. I know that he will be the biggest and best bear of an angel watching over his family.
