Married Ann Magwood, June 15, 1855
in Mornington, Perth County, Ontario.
She was a daughter of Charles Magwood
(1801-1874) and Jane Pinkburn (1809-
1873) both buried in Gorrie Cemetery
in Huron County, Ontario.

They had four children:
(1) Charlotte Amour (May 2, 1856-
May 7, 1925) married George Ellery
Oakes (Oct.14,1850-1946) on
July 3, 1877.

(2) Albert Frederick (Nov.17,1857-
Mar.20,1875) died in Baldwin, Iosco,
MI, buried in Greenwood.

(3) Charles Zenas (Sept.13,1859-
July 22, 1860) born and died in
Morgan County, IL.

(4) Harriet Bell (Sept.1875-1949)
unmarried, buried in Greenwood.

Charles and Ann moved from Ontario to
IL with their two young children in 1859.
In 1863 they moved to Saginaw County, MI
and the next year to East Tawas where
they remained.

On July 16,1900 in Bay County, Charles
married secondly Mrs. Elizabeth Emeline
"Emma" (Church) O'Bryan,(Nov.1,1828-
July 28,1912). a widow with several
children from her first marriage.
She was a d/o Albert Church and Martha
Adelia Sleeper.
