Mrs. Madalene Rollyson
GASSAWAY - Mrs. Madalene Griffin Rollyson, 75' of Gassaway, died Sunday in Broaddus Hospital, Philippi, after a short illness.
She was a member of the Gassaway United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Gassaway Woman Club, the Elk Valley Homemakers Club, the B & 0 Veterans Auxiliary and the Braxton County Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving: sons, Robert of Hillcrest Heights, Md., Richard of Radford, Va.: brother, Robert Griffin of Clarksburg; sisters, Mrs. Mae Dwight, Mrs. Lula Chapman and Mrs. Margaret Kestner of Gassaway, Mrs. Beulah Charett of Northampton, Mass., Mrs. Rose Knottingham of Charleston.
Service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Skidmore-Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with the Rev.Jerry Shields officiating. Burial will be in Bealls Mill Cemetery.
Friends may call today after 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
