Robert H. "Bob" Bjork, 87 of Stronghurst, Illinois died Thursday April 10, 2014 at his home. He was born December 12, 1926 near Stronghurst, the son of Herbert Arnold and Edythe Bernice Shutt Bjork. On June 2, 1946, he married Orma Mae Brown in LaHarpe, Illinois.
Bob attended Maple Grove Country School near Stronghurst and graduated from Stronghurst High School in 1944. He farmed in the Biggsville, Stronghurst, and Media, Illinois areas for many years. He enjoyed collecting miniature farm implement replicas. He was a member of the Stronghurst Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three children in infancy, Richard, Margaret and Miles Bjork.
