Paul O. Landis, 73, of 437 Plymouth St., a life resident of Bucyrus, died at 7:50 pm Tues in Comm Hosp. He was seriously ill six weeks. Born Aug 20, 1895, he was a son of John F. and Cornella Magers Landis. On July 2, 1925, he married Lorena Marie Pontius and she survives. A WW1 veteran. He retired eight years ago, he was employed by the WA Riddell Co., as a machinist and later owned the North End Tavern in Bucyrus. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Also surviving are four bros., John C. of RR2, Bucyrus, Harrison E. of RR3, Bucyrus, Paul Jr of RR4, Bucyrus, and James A., of Bucyrus; a daughter, Mrs Haskell M. Wilson of Sandusky, and 12 grandchildren. He was the last of 11 bros and sisters. Burial will be in Oakwood.
