Hedges/Halsey Clues:
1. Sarah is mentioned on p66. The date she joined the church is given as 23 Feb 1815, but the church was seeking (in 1883) further data as to her recorded dismissal/leaving the Presby. congregation:"Sarah, wife of Ezra Halsey Jr. marked to Hamburgh, Sussex Co [NJ]. This source is a newsletter, "The Record", Vol III, No. 9, Sept 1883, pub. by First Presby. Ch., Morristown, inside of a googlebook, History of the First Presbyterian Church, Morristown, N.J. By First Presbyterian Church in Morristown (N.J.).
2. A lovely transcription is online, by Nancy Pascal, transcriber, sussexcountyhistory.org, for a Sparta Presbyterian Cem.(Older Part)which includes:
Halsey, Ezra, Jr.*; wife Sarah Hedges, b 9 Jul 1775, d Oct 1858.
Hedges, Sarah (See Ezra Halsey, Jr.)
So it seems that this can be called Sparta Presbyterian Cemetery; I am still uncertain if Ezra Halsey Jr is also buried there. [bio by findagraver, DBardes]
