Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, April 21, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Roy Woods officiating, with interment in Milan City Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was a native of Telfair County, a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was daughter of the late Evelyn Sheffield Howell & James Sheffield, widow of Roston Mac "Big A" Adams and was preceded in death by Brother - Mike Sheffield and Step-Father - Emmis Howell.
Survivors: Daughter - Rhonda Ussery (Craig) of Milan; Son - Tim Adams (Renee) of Eastman; 4 Grandchildren - Deanna Ussery, Allee Ussery, Makayla Adams and Ben Adams; Brother - Gary Sheffield (Connie) of Eastman; Sister - Debbie Griffin (Billy) of Eastman; Aunt - Estelle Griffin of Waycross; 2 Sisters-in-Law - Patricia "Tater" Williams (Dewey Blizzard) and Barbara Adams; 3 Brothers-in-Law - Paul Adams, James Evans and Ron Keeling; Beloved Baby - Peanut; Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family may be contacted at the Adams residence, 13 Seay Street, Milan, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Saturday, April 19.
