Kathy G. Skarvan, age 53, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Kathy was born on January 8, 1961 in Two Rivers, daughter of Leo and June (Raatz) Bugler. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1979. On April 19, 1980 she married Rick Skarvan in Manitowoc. Kathy liked to play bingo and go snowmobiling. She also enjoyed gardening and going on motorcycle rides and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband: Rick Skarvan; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Chris Skarvan, Rick & Tanya Skarvan, all of Manitowoc; four grandchildren: Zoie & Alana Skarvan, Aiden & Mason Skarvan; her parents: Leo & June Bugler, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Karen & Mike Kiesow, St. Nazianz, Sue & Dave Cisler, Waukesha, Helen & Mike Place, Two Rivers; a sister-in-law: Debbie (Ron) Hornberg; a brother-in-law: Jake (Tammy) Skarvan; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bob & Lorraine Skarvan, all of Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Roland & Florence Raatz; her paternal grandparents: Erwin & Agnes Bugler; a sister: Judy Marie; and a nephew: Kevin Kiesow.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev. David Beaudry. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Kathy will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel for a memorial visitation on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
