Alice Mae Posvic, age 86, a Two Rivers resident, died on Friday morning, March 7, 2014, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Alice Mae was born February 14, 1928, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Arthur and Sophia (Vandenbusch) Ruelle.

On June 11, 1946, she married Paul C. Posvic at St. Mark Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2011. Alice Mae grew up in Two Rivers, where she met her husband, Paul. They lived in Milwaukee for two years, returning to Two Rivers in 1953, where they have lived ever since. Alice Mae will be remembered for her baking. She would bake at home and give her baked goods to school. She enjoyed polka music and camping.

Survivors include six sons and five daughters-in-law: Robert and Roberta Posvic; Eugene and Sue Posvic, all of Manitowoc; Jim and Pam Posvic, rural Manitowoc; Tom Posvic, Manitowoc; Donnie and Lois Posvic, Two Rivers; Paul "Butch" and Kathy Posvic, Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law: Clarice and Stan Snyder, Two Rivers; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; one sister, Marion Hearley, Two Rivers; three sisters-in-law: Dolores Ruelle, Darlene Guehlstorf, all of Two Rivers; and Dolores Posvic, Green Bay.

She was also preceded in death by one great grandson: William Waters; one sister: Kathleen Ruelle; three brothers and one sisters-in-law: Eddie and Bernice Vieau, Robert Ruelle, Donnie; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Hilary Hearley, Corky Guehlstorf, Vincent and Elaine Posvic, Dorothy Posvic and Harold Posvic.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday evening, March 10, 2014, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The visitation will conclude with a prayer service led by Deacon Kenn Nelesen. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jenny for helping to care for grandma Alice Mae during the last few years.
