JOHN PETROSKY
(1856 - 1944)

John Petrosky, 79, of 1017 South 19th street, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday at the Holy Family hospital after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, at 8:30 o'clock from the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mr. Petrosky was born Dec. 25, 1864 in Poland and came to this country when he was 19 years old. Fifty-six years ago he married Miss Pauline Jahn and the couple farmed in the town of Liberty. Mrs. Petrosky died in 1935 and three years ago Mr. Petrosky retired from farming and moved to this city. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. John Kalasa of Reedsville and Mrs. A.P. Korlesky of Two Rivers; tow sons, Theodore and Frank of this city; and two grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home and the rosary will be recited there at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
