Ignatius A. Pozorski, 70, of 1709 Franklin street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at his home following a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate with burial in St. Mary cemetery.

Mr. Pozorski was born in 1880 in Kewaunee and came to Manitowoc 63 years ago. Until his retirement five years ago, he was employed by the Spindler company, Manitowoc, for 27 years. In 1902 he married Tekla Cobleski who died in 1936.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Kurtzbach of Athelstane, Wis., and Mrs. Joseph Lemanczyk of Crivitz; three sons, Alois, Ervin, and Joseph of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Christ Grunnett of Downers Grove, Ill., and Mrs. Johanna Schmitt of Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Pozorski was a member of the St. Stanislaus society. Friends may call at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m. Thursday and the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday.
