Joseph A. Revolinsky, 80, of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since Dec. 23.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John F. Conrad will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Revolinsky was born at Manitowoc Oct. 18, 1883, son of the late Anton and Julia Dzubek Revolinsky. He attended St. Mary Catholic School and was graduated from the old West Side High School. He married Josephine Korlesky at St. Mary Church June 20, 1905. She died July 13, 1950.
Before his retirement 20 years ago he had been employed at C. Reiss Coal Co. He started to work with the company at the age of 17 and when he retired he had been superintendent. Mr. Revolinsky had been an alderman for 14 years serving in the seventh Ward, and had also served two terms as a member of the Police and Fire Commission. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 706.
Surviving are five sons, Anton, Eugene, Joseph and Alex Revolinsky of Manitowoc and Lt. Col. Phillip Revolinsky of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Sophie) Ansorge, Mrs. Henry (Leona) Sieracke and Mrs. Conrad (Clementine) Meyer of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ziarnik of Manitowoc; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
