ALBERT RUGOWSKI
(1910 - 1975)
Albert P. Rugowski, 64, of 1904 Columbus St., Manitowoc, died late Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A brother-in-law, the Very, Rev. Stanley Andrzejewski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Rugowski was born March 5, 1910, at Manitowoc, son of the late Peter P. and Mary Michalski Rugowski. He was a Manitowoc resident all his life, attending St. Mary Parochial School and graduating from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1927. He married Sophie Andrewski June 27, 1938, at Wisconsin Rapids. Prior to his retirement due to illness this past April he had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. for 31 years as a tool and die maker. He was a member of machinists Local 516, Fraternal Order of Eagles, St. Mary Holy Name Society and a charter member of St. Mary Young Miss Club.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Miss Barbara Rugowski, of New York city and Mrs. Keith (Christine) Schultz, of Sheboygan; three brothers, Francis, Anthony and Ralph, and two sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Pauline) Kortas and Mrs. John (Mary) Skubal, of Manitowoc and a granddaughter. Twin sons, Stephan and Stanley, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
