Patrick R. Sullivan, age 56, a Manitowoc resident, died Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2014 at his residence.

Pat was born on May 24, 1957 in Manitowoc, son of Jack L. and Anna "Mitzi" (Fuchs) Sullivan. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1976 and then graduated from the Lakeshore Technical Institute of Cleveland, WI with his welding diploma in 1977. On July 3, 1986 he married the former Cheryl Lutz in Manitowoc. Pat was employed with Lakeshore Technical College of Cleveland, WI as a welding instructor of 22 years. He was also a certified weld test conductor for the State of Wisconsin. Pat was a member of the American Welding Society.

Survivors include his wife: Cheryl Sullivan, Manitowoc; three sons and one daughter-in-law: Brian L. Sullivan, Manitowoc, Spc. E-4 Jerrod M. and Sarah Sullivan, Ft. Bragg, NC, Mason Sullivan, Manitowoc; one daughter: Paige Sullivan, Manitowoc; one step son: Michael LaFond, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren: Troi Lee Sullivan, Stella and Marlee Sullivan, Gabe and Jade LaFond, Welsey and Alicia LaFond, Samantha LaFond; his parents: Jack and Anna "Mitzi" Sullivan, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael and Terri Sullivan, Green Bay, John and Jenni Sullivan, Manitowoc; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Catherine Sullivan and Gerry Gunderson, Dousman, WI, Barbara and Ross Rohr, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Pat was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Raymond E. and Olive Sullivan; his maternal grandparents: John and Mary Fuchs; and his mother-in-law: Marilyn Obester.

Funeral Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Dave Pleier with cremation to follow at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Burial of Pat's cremated remains will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.

Pat was devoted to the high standards and art of welding. He loved having fun and he loved the outdoors, especially canoeing, disc golfing and camping. Pat was a fan of the Packers and the Celtics. He loved his family, children, nieces and nephews and he touched all of our lives in such a special way.
