Flora Cressler

Graveside services for Flora Cressler are to be held at the Dove Creek Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. Pastor Brad Ramsey of the Bethel Baptist Church in Cortez will be officiating.

Flora Cressler was born to John "Jack" and Armella (Dedi) Dumbreck on March 23, 1919 in Monticello, Utah. She passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001 at the Vista Grande Nursing Home in Cortez at the age of 81.

Flora was known for her willingness to work diligently. She was a farmer and rancher in the San Juan County most of her adult life.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Arthur Cressler of Summit Point, Utah; sons, Dan (LeAnn) Cressler of Fredonia, Ariz., and RoyDean (Imogene) Cressler of Dove Creek; also surviving her are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; three sisters, Margaret, Grace and Lillian.

Services will be under the direction of the Ertel Funeral Home.
