Anne Elizabeth Jenson of Lodi passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2006 in Lodi at the age of 59. Mrs. Jenson was born on December 4, 1946 to Emmett and Eudora Harstine in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Selma High School, graduating in 1964. She then attended San Joaquin Delta College, graduating in 1966, continuing her education at San Jose State, graduating in 1968 with a B.S. degree in occupational therapy. She married Paul Jenson on August 30, 1969. She worked for Yolo County in Woodland, then Napa State Hospital, Stockton State Hospital and eventually San Joaquin County, working with disabled children until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and playing the piano and obo. She had played in concerts in her youth. She loved working with disabled children, calling them "her children." She was a member of the English Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church and D.A.R. Mrs. Anne E. Jenson is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul L. Jenson, of Lodi; son, Frederick L. Jenson and daughter, Barbara E. Jenson, both of Lodi; father, Emmett Harstine of Vacaville and brother, Kenneth Harstine of Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eudora L. Harstine. Friends are invited to visit Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, starting at 8:00 a.m. Services will be held at Lodi Funeral Home Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Young officiating. Committal will immediately follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
