Arthur R Caselton married Anna M E Nelson on April 11 1898 in Seattle, WA with Trene Nelson and Charles Caselton as witnesses. He was 34, b. in Victoria, BC to Richard Caselton and Sarah M Williams, and worked as an iron moulder. She was 23, a stenographer, b. in Minnesota to August W Nelson and Nette Marie Christensen.

Funeral services for Arthur R Caselton, 66-year old Seattle pioneer resident who died Saturday evening at his home, 4023 Second Avenue NE, were held at 2 o'clock today at the Butterworth Mortuary. The Rev. W.A Major officiated. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery.
Mr Caselton was born in Victoria, B.C. and came to this city forty-five years ago. Until ill health forced his retirement five years ago, he had been secretary-treasurer of the Seattle Iron Molders Union for twenty-five years. He was a member of Vancouver Court No. 5578, Ancient Order of Foresters and Seattle Tent No i, Maccabees of the World.
Mr Castleton came from sturdy stock. his parents, Richard and Sarah Ann Caselton of England, came around Cape Horn to Victoria, B.C., in an old sailing vessel. Caselton himself for years was a member of the Volunteer Fire Departments of Victoria and Seattle. He was a famous hunter and fisherman, fond of all sports, and was a member of one of the first YMCA crews. He used to play in the band at the old Cordray Theater.
For more than twenty-five years he was an employee of the Washington Iron Works, where he made, among other things, the fluted columns which now are part of the Rialto Building front.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anne N Caselton; a son, William W Caselton of Portland; two sisters, Mrs. F William Horne and Mrs. John Lovell, and a brother, Frederick Caselton, all of Victoria.
