Edith M. Koeser, age 58, of 2821 37th St., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.

Edith was born in Kassel, Germany, on Jan. 6, 1947, daughter of the late Albert and Martha (Konradi) Bergmann. She was raised and educated in Germany. On Aug. 29, 1970, she married Keith Koeser in Kassel, Germany. After moving to the United States with her husband, Edith was employed for 27 years as the accounts payable administrator at Bill's Pick 'n Save in Two Rivers. She enjoyed being with family and friends. Edith was also accomplished at knitting, needlepoint, sewing, and was an exceptional cook. She enjoyed traveling very much and was a loving wife and mother to her family.

Survivors include her husband: Keith, Two Rivers; one son: Andrew Koeser, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point; one daughter: Kristin Koeser, Statesville, N.C.; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Reid Koeser, Pompano Beach, Fla.; Donald and Julie Koeser, Two Rivers; one niece and nephew: Kaelyn and Casey Koeser. Other relatives, family and friends in Germany and the United States also survive.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Donald and Kathryn Koeser.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien. Burial will take place immediately following Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2005 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. led by Father Bill. The visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
