Kyle William Knudson, 34, of Superior died Monday April 14, 2014. Kyle was born July 15, 1979, in St. Croix Falls, WI, to Donald and Candace Knudson.

Kyle attended grades K-6 in LaCrosse, WI, grades 7-9 in Pikeville, KY, and 10-12 in Kirksville, MO, where he graduated from high school in 1997. Following graduation, Kyle moved back to Wisconsin where he attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Creativity was one of Kyle's strong points: He particularly enjoyed playing the guitar and woodcarving. The outdoors attracted Kyle - especially when physical activity was involved. Kyle loved sports, excelling in track and football. Some of his favorite times were spent riding his dirt bike and camping with friends in the mountains of East Kentucky. He was always a willing helper, enjoying hard physical labor such as carpentry, roofing, concrete work, making lumber, getting firewood, and more. He was his father's "right hand man."
Kyle valued his family and his friendships and will be sorely missed.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and June Knudson; aunt, Cheryl Knudson; uncle, Russell Latvala; and a cousin, Robert Latvala.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Don and Candy Knudson; brother, Jeff Knudson; sister, Laurel Buchanan; grandparents, Lauri Latvala and Elvie Latvala; nephews, Lucas Buchanan, Benjamin Buchanan, and Liam Grenier; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Burial will be in Salo Cemetery.
