Reinhardt (sic) C. Pippert, 61, of Cleveland, passed away suddenly this morning at the St. Nicholas hospital in Sheboygan.
He was born at Howards Grove on March 23, 1890, the son of Edward and Dorothy Pippert. On January 14, 1914, Mr. Pippert was married to Miss Hulda Altschwager. The couple moved to Cleveland following their marriage. Mr. Pippert operated a meat market and nursery in that community.
The survivors include: Four sons, Gordon, Willard, Francis and Wallace, all of Cleveland; three brothers, William of Quinn, S.D., George of Howards Grove and Walter of Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Henry (Anna) Schreiber of Quinn, S.D., Mrs. Howard (Bertha) Waite of Chicago, Mrs. Emma Lau of Sheboygan and Mrs. Ida Hartman of Phoenix, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the St. John and St. Peter Lutheran church in Cleveland with the Rev. Elden M. Bode officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot in St. John's cemetery at Hika. Friends may call at the Stoltenberg Funeral chapel in Cleveland from 3 p.m. Saturday to Sunday noon. The body will lie in state at the church from noon to the time of services on Sunday.
