Robert Jennings Blakely, age 74, husband of Shelby Martin Blakely of Forego Trail, Corbin, passed away Saturday at UK Medical Center. He was the father of Russell J. Blakely and wife Tina, of Somerset, Kentucky. The grandfather of Smanatha Benedict and husband Jeff of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Whitney Roots of London, Kentucky, Zander, Pey ton, And Zack. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Betty Walden Blakely, by one brother, Clifford Blakely, and by one sister Atha Blakely. Funeral Services for Robert Jennings Blakely will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Joe Eaton, and Claude Maggard officiating. Burial will follow at Benge Cemetery. The family of Robert Jennings Blakely will receive friends at London funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.
