Born in Lumberton, Ruth was a longtime Browns Mills resident. She worked for the Burlington County Community Action Program as head cook for over 30 years.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Wilbert Garfield Green of Browns Mills; daughter, Michelle Imes of Camden; step-daughter, Angela Green; five grandchildren, Tyeesha, Tya, Tyrone, Tyrell, and Tacarra; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret, Bettyjo, and Anna; and her brother, Richard, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, where friends may attend her visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton will be held privately.
