Services for Edmund John Alexander of 1412 Confederate Avenue will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel.

Mr. Alexander died Friday, September 4, 1992. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Alexander. A World War II Army Veteran, he was the former owner of Alexander's Bargain House. He was a member of the DAV, the Syrian-Lebanon-American Society, the AHEPA and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

Surviving is an adopted son, Edmund Alexander Jr. of Greece, a brother, Edward Alexander of Charlotte, and sisters, Evelyn Azar of Columbia, Evon Abraham of Gloversville, N. Y., and Elaine Glasscock of Fruitland Park, Fla.
