John William Milligan, 80, retired fanner and lifelong resdent of Cape Vincent, was found dead in bed Tuesday morning of last week by his wife, Mrs Catherine M Milligan, at their home on Market street, this village. Burial was in the family plot in Riverside cemetery. Mr Milligan was born Feb 22, 1865, in Cape Vincent, a son of John and Sarah Clemens Milligan. He married Miss Catherine McCullough, of Kingston, Ont, on October 21 1903. Until his retirement six 1903. Until his retirement six
years ago, the couple lived on a farm at Wilson's Bay, which
Mr Milligan owned and operaed. Since that time, they, have
made their home in the village. Mr Milligan was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Cape Vincent Grange and the local Chamber of Commerce. Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs Edgar Greenwood, Rochester, and
Miss Jeanne Milligan, Auburn, two sons, Roy M Milligan, of
Dover, N T, and Donald Milligan, Cape Vincent,
