John Allison, 52, Chester Native

John E. "Jack" Allison, 52, of Cambridge, Ohio, formerly of Arner Road, Chester, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 1989, at Guernsey Memorial Hospital at Cambridge following a two - hour illness. He was born near Chester May 17, 1936, a son of the late Louis C. Allison and Cora Mae Allison Allison. Mr. Allison had resided in Chester until about four years ago when he moved to Cambridge, where he resided with his sister, Mrs. Georgia Millhimes. Besides his sister, survivors include a brother, Alvin L. Allison of Chester; and two sisters, Mary E. Rawson of New Cumberland and Mrs. Allen (Mae)Morgan of Fort Mills, S. C. Minister Joe Kelly of the Chester First Christian Church is to conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial is to be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
