Mrs. Lena May Billington
Edwardsburg: Mrs. Lena May Billington, 88 of 26912 Church St. Edwardsburg, died at 8:25 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital, Couth Bend after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 18, 1895,
in Lapeer County, Michigan and moved to the State of Washington in 1903. She returned to Edwardsburg in September 1981 when she became ill and remained here. Her husband Alva Billington preceded her in death in 1970.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charity Baumgart of Spokane, Wash. and a niece, Mrs. James L. (Shirley) Carlton of Edwardsburg. Her sister, Mrs. Ethel Ogle preceded her in death on Feb. 19. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon today at the Paul E. Mayhew funeral home.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lind Cemetery in Lind, Washington.
