After many years of battling Alzheimer's, Mae McKee, 86, of Fort Smith, passed away April 21, 2014 at Ashton Place in Barling, AR, surrounded by her loving family.
Mae was born July 30, 1927 in Dardanelle, AR to James Leonard and MaryLou Dradie Wilson.

She was a dedicated member of Living Faith Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, warming the hearts of those she touched. Her gentle and giving spirit was evident in her heart, her home, her work, and her walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. She especially enjoyed her many luncheons with her graduation group, the Boston Store ladies, and Thursday lunches with her daughter, Ann, and granddaughters, Kim Green and Teresa Ashley.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years G.A. McKee.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Karr and husband Jerry, of Ft Smith, 3 sons, Gary Andrews and his wife Brenda, Stephen Andrews and his wife Karen and Rick Andrews and his wife Patti all of Muldrow, OK. She is also survived by her step-children Marjorie McKee, Evelyn Ashworth and Greg McKee as well as many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family will hold visitation at Edwards Funeral Home from 5:30-7:00 PM on Wednesday April 23rd. Graveside service will be Thursday, April 24th at 11:00 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
