She was the daughter of William and Vera (Cross) McNicol. Delila married Kenneth R. Knuteson on September 9, 1950 at Dekorra Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 1999. Delila graduated from Lodi High School. She worked as a LPN with Dr. Focke at Poynette Hospital until she was married. Delila raised her family and was a life-long member of Dekorra Lutheran Church where she was involved in teaching Sunday school, ladies Bible studies, quilting group and the church choir. She had a large garden that she enjoyed and shared with others. Delila also enjoyed children, often providing child care for the children of many friends and family. She did not drive a car but she loved to ride snowmobiles and it had to be an Arctic Cat, whether it was around the area or up north. Delila passed away at Serenity Homes Assisted Living in De Forest. Delila is survived by her children; grandchildren; great grandson; sisters, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Kenneth McNicol and sister-in-law, Geraldine McNicol. Burial in Dekorra Lutheran Cemetery. [Gunderson Funeral Home]
