Helen Montgomery Died Last Evening
Relatives in the city received word last evening that little Helen Montgomery, 12 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Montgomery of just north of Mason City, had passed away at 4:30 in the afternoon.
The child had been ill since about New Year's day, when she was taken own with the measles. It was about three weeks ago that a double ----- operation became necessary and a week ago a second operation was performed.
Her aunt Mrs. Homer Boyse of the city, went up at the time and was with the parents when the ---- --- passed away at a hospital in Mason City.
Helen was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery, former residents of this community the father being a son of M. W. Montgomery and the mother a daughter of Jas. W. Sowers.
The body will brought to Nevada Saturday evening and funeral services will be held some time Sunday at the J. W. Sowers home.
