MANITO - Mrs. Marie Gumbel, 78, of Peoria, former Manito resident, died at 7 1.m. today in Proctor hospital, Peoria.
Rites are pending at the Limback Funeral Home in Manito.
Mrs. Gumbel was born May 6, 1889 in Green Valley, the daughter of John and Kate Reiners Jibben. She married Harry Gumbel in Green Valley and he preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving are one son, Leo Gumbel of Elmwood; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Boord of Peoria; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by one son.
