Elaine A. (Krotz) Greguric, 87, formerly of Westmoreland City, died Monday, April 21, 2014, in Greensburg. She was born Dec. 29, 1926, in North Irwin, a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Freund) Krotz. Elaine was employed at one time as a secretary for Westinghouse Printing of Trafford. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church, of Irwin, its BYKOTA Sunday school class, the United Methodist Women and the Happy Methodists and served her church in many other ways. Elaine was the youngest and last surviving of her 10 siblings. In addition to her parents and brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Greguric. Surviving are three children, Jean (Steve) Halza, of North Huntingdon, Joel (Patty) Greguric, of Baldwin, and Jan Greguric, of Peters Township; seven grandchildren, Katie and Andy Halza, Ryan and Alex Greguric, Kayla (Tyler) Short, Kiersten and Hannah Greguric; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Lake, her pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 310 Oak St., Irwin, PA 15642.
