Mrs. Letha “Teat” Cason Allbritton, 83, of Lake City departed this earth on Sunday, April 20, 2014 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, G. Paul Allbritton and her son Lavon. She was the last surviving of 9 children of the late Will and Lillie Cason of Ft. White.



She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Donny) Griffin of Lake City; grandson, Kasey (Margot) Richmond and great grandsons, Collin and Paul Richmond of Sanderson, FL; three additional grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her three loving sisters in law whom she cherished, Daisy Lee, Mary and Helen Cason also survive.



Mrs. Allbritton grew up in and attended her school years in Ft. White before making her home in Jacksonville, Florida where she remained until retiring to Lake City in 1989. She was a homemaker and retired owner of Manucy’s Gas and Grocery in Lake City. She enjoyed spending time with family and working in her garden.



A memorial service honoring the memory of Mrs. Allbritton will be conducted on April 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Cason officiating, after which interment will follow beside her husband at Elim Cemetery in Ft. White at a later date. Family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center at 6037 West US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055. Arrangements are under the direction of GUERRY Funeral Home, Lake City.
