Carol J. Dzingle, 70, of Grand Island, Nebraska died, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, following a brief illness.

A service celebrating her life, with a buffet to follow, will be held Friday, April 25, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. John Meidlinger PhD will lead the celebration.

Carol was born August 8, 1943, in Loup City, Nebraska, the oldest child born to Theo and Agnes (Karas) Stobbe.

Carol attended elementary and high school at Ashton, NE, graduating valedictorian of her class in 1961.

After graduation she worked at Sherman County ASCS office for four years.

On June 12, 1965, she married Ronald "Ron" Dzingle.

They made their home in Grand Island. Carol loved being a stay-at-home mother with her son Bryan.

On September 1, 1983, the family opened DZ Office Products which they operated for almost 20 years.

Mr. Dzingle died February 12, 1999.

Carol loved classical music. She was an avid runner and a student of yoga who found the practices of yoga breathing and awareness useful in all areas of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, and her parents.
