Edward B. Adams, 87, Edgewater, a passenger service supervisor for Delta Airlines in Miami and Daytona Beach before his retirement, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Emeritus at Port Orange.
Mr. Adams, a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, was born in Concord, NH and moved to Edgewater in 1980 from Hollywood, FL. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Concord and Delta Airlines Retired Employees Association.
He is survived by one son, John E. Adams of Winter Haven.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Packard Adams in 1986, his second wife, Jettie King Adams in 2012 and his brother, Nelson Adams in 2001.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Friday, April 25, 2014 at Dudley Edgewater Chapel, 433 N. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater, with Mr. Kevin Killam, officiating. Private burial will be in Hollywood Memorial Gardens, Hollywood. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the service time on Friday at Dudley Edgewater Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity of choice.
