Mr. Wacker was a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. He lived in Gustine 26 years. He was employed with Knudsen Creamery and H2O & Ice to Go. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 386 in Modesto.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Wacker of Gustine; children, James H. Rhodes of La Puente, Michael J. Wacker, Scott L. Wacker and Candy R. Cole, all of Gustine; sisters, Hilda Haab of Ohio and Erica Steffens of Washington ; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gustine Presbyterian Church. Private burial will be today at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santal Nella. Hillview Funeral Chapel, Newman, in charge of arrangements.
Remembrances may be to the Gustine Presbyterian Church, 399 Sixth Street, Gustine 95322.
