Thelma M. (Jones) Lawrence, 92, died December 17, 2011, at her home in Daniels. She was born April 19, 1919, in Smoot, WV. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Lina Jones of Rainelle; two brothers: Merle and Curtis Jones; a sister: Pansy Carte; and her husband, Wilbur T. Lawrence.
Thelma's love and pride were in the family that survives her: 4 daughters; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
During her more active years, Mrs. Lawrence enjoyed attending Bible studies and taking part in ladies clubs. She had a special place in her heart for those in need and found pleasure giving to various charities.
Service was 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 20th, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel at Clintonville, WV.
