James Cucinotta, 85, of Brookhaven, former owner-operator of a service station, died Nov. 21 in Crozer Medical Center, Upland. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Cucinotta attended Philadelphia schools and moved to Delaware County 50 years ago. He had been in Brookhaven for the last 43 years. Mr. Cucinotta operated the ARCO Service Station on Edgmont Avenue for 25 years before his retirement in 1978. He was a member of Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church. Husband of the late Josephine Moccio Cucinotta, who died in 1990, he is survived by two sons, James Cucinotta Jr. of Newton Square and Richard Cucinotta of Monroe County, Pa; a sister Katherine Rescigno of Philadelphia; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 2316 Providence Ave.
