Funeral services for Chester C. Denton, 71, a retired building contractor, will be held tomorrow in West Home Chapel with burial in Forest Lawn. Mr. Denton died Saturday after a long illness. He and his wife May came here four years ago from The Dalles, OR where they had lived 33 years. Mr. Denton was born in Ainsworth, NE. Surviving besides his wife are four daughters Mrs. Edith Marie Lager, Mrs. Bessie Gambriell, Mrs. Verla A. Rumsey, all of Seattle and Mrs. Margaret E. Jones, Deer Park, Spokane County; two sons, Raymond of Prineville, OR and Clyde V. Denton, Seattle; a brother Roy T. Denton, The Dalles; two sisters Mrs. Josie Mason, The Dalles and Mrs. Dora Quigley, Waitsburg, Walla Walla County; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
