Gail A. (Griffin) Bauer, 74 of Grand Rapids, MN died Monday, January 20, 2014 in Grand Itasca Hospital. She was born December 9, 1939 in Ellendale, ND to Noble and Erma (Theede) Griffin. She received her BS in Education from Ellendale State Teachers College in 1960. Gail married William “Bill” Bauer June 6, 1961 in Ellendale. She taught high school English in Jamestown and Grand Forks, ND. They moved to Edina, MN where she enjoyed a successful career as a Sales Manager for Flour City Packaging Corp. They retired to Grand Rapids in 1994. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church and the Order of The Eastern Star. Gail loved to read and appreciated the beauty of nature every day from her picture window on Pokegama Lake. She was a diverse musician who enjoyed the splendor of great music.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Gail is survived by her husband, William Bauer; son, Steve Bauer; two grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.
