YORKTOWN – Robert Mercer Wright, age 26, of 709 York-Warwick Drive, died Thursday in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
He was born in Norfolk and attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg for two years.
He graduated from York High School in 1979 and received his bachelors degree from the University of Southern California.
He was a member of the Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, Grafton.
Survivors include his father, Robert L. Wright of Yorktown, his mother, Mrs. Mercer Conway Wright of Allentown; a brother, David Frank Wright of Yorktown, and his paternal grandfather, Frank Wilson Wright of Lynchburg.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, by the Reverend Irene Cratz. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
