Harry Leland Apedaile, 65, of Lodi died March 28, 2002, at his residence of natural causes.
He was born November 3, 1936, in Camino, CA and grew up in Amador County. He graduated from Amador County High School in Sutter Creek, Class of 1955. He played football while in high school and was a member of the Future Farmers of America.
He married Helen Bell on Deceber 30, 1963 and they resided in Madera and eventually settled in Lodi that same year.
Mr. Apedaile began work at Pacific Gas & Electric at age 18 and retired in 1992 after 37 years of employment. He was a member of the Lodi Moose Lodge, United Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and served in the National Guard.
He enjoyed all outdoor sports, attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events and deer hunting. He coached little league baseball in the Lodi area for several years.
He is survived by two sons; one daughter; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Wanda Lehr of Washington, Ardith Bagwell of Elverta, CA, Marian Randolph of Plymouth, CA; five brothers, Tom Apedaile of Oregon, Dick Apedaile of Utah, Frank Apedaile of Stockton, Gene Apedaile of Washington, and Bob Apedaile of Volcano, CA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Edith Apedaile on January 3, 2001 and his brother, Art Apedaile.
