Clyde Wayne Adams, 65, of Center, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 17, 1948 in Shelby County to C.W. Adams and Dixie Marie Emanis Adams. Mr. Adams enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on his bulldozer. He loved his family and especially enjoyed the time spent with his precious grandchildren. Mr. Adams was a member of Folsom Chapel Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Lamar Rash, Bro. Herald Dement and Bro. Henry Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Pallbearers will be Brian Hendricks, Richard Tomlin, Jody Porter, Clifton Porter, Donnie Adams, James Cassell, Jason Burch, Darrin Wiggins and Chad Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Adams, Joe Porter, Kerry Emanis, Don Wheeler, Robert Eaden, Brian Denby and the Men of Folsom Chapel Baptist Church.
