Leone E. Chapple, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Chapple, aged two years and one month, died Saturday. The little child passed away peacefully after severe suffering from brain fever and pneumonia, its spirit taking flight to God who gave and in whose tender care there is no more pain, suffering nor affliction.
A beautiful funeral service was held at the house of the bereaved parents, conducted by Rev. W. L. Munger. The singing was by Miss Agnes Spencer.
The remains of the little one was encased in a slumber casket of white plush bearing many flowers and laid in the grave at River Ridge cemetery by Mr. Chapple, father of the deceased and Will Smith of Cadillac. Many friends in the city and a number of relatives from abroad attended the solemn services.
