“DIED—At Norfolk, on the 26th of July Nathaniel Stevens, Esqr. aged 68.—He returned from the Assembly unwell and soon was confined with a complication of disorders attended with distressing pain and fever, which he endured with christian patience and submission until he was released, as we trust, from sin and sorrow. As he lived the christian so he died : but not without the heart-felt sorrow, of his family and connections, and the lamentation of the church and society of which he was a pillar and distinguished supporter.”
