Eight months later, Joseph married 10 Nov 1852 Lucille Chenevere. Joseph and Lucille had seven children: Lucille, Daniel, Mary, Gilbert, Caroline, Angeline and Matilda.
After decades of research by multiple descendants, it is not known when or where Joseph died. It is known that he was a laborer and farmer, living in Monroe and Wayne counties. Second wife Lucille died 1904 in Bay County, Michigan. Perhaps Joseph died there as well.
