Many from this neighborhood attended the funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Simmers held at Cooperstown Wednesday.
Mrs. Simmers whose maiden name was Mary Dewane was a former resident of this town being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Dewane. She had been living in Chicago until a few months ago when she came here and made her home with Mrs. Ed Geimer at Denmark where she died. She was about 69 years of age and leave to mourn her passing, two sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by two sisters and five brothers.
