Kenneth E. Huntington 69 died unexpectedly April 26, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Bangor April 5, 1945 the son of Henry S and Hazel A. (Duran) Huntington. He was educated in Newport Schools and attended Newport High School.

Ken was a member of Company C, 262nd Army National Guard Engineering Unit, Newport, Maine. Ken served in this unit from 1962 – 1968.

Ken married Marvis Palmer in Newport on Nov. 16, 1963. Marvis predeceased him on June 23, 2010. They had been married for 46 years.

He was employed as a millwright for Agway Inc. for over 23 years. He was also employed at Cianbro in Pittsfield for 15 years retiring due to ill health.

Ken was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and especially trapping. He was a member of the Maine Trappers Association. He was wildlife nuisance trapper for the local area. Ken also repaired and traded old traps.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy E. Parent of Plymouth, his son, Robert K. Huntington of Albion, one grandson, Adam K. Parent of Plymouth, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Marvis and one brother, Irving Huntington.
