Samuel B. Carpenter, died Sunday, March 10, at his home in Mann's Choice, Rt. 1, death was caused by the effects of a cold. He was born in Londonderry township, January 28, 1838, and was the son of Michael and Mary Boor Carpenter deceased. On January 9, 1862 he was united in marriage to Ida May of Fulton county. The following children survive: Aiden, Mrs. Blair Hurley, of Milligans Cove and Mrs. S. T. Collins, Everett. One brother Abraham, of Wichita, Kansas also survives. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 12, in the Milligan's Cove church with the Rev. W. C. Garland officiating and interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
